Fireman course - 3 days

Have you dreamed of being a fireman on a real steam locomotive? During three days you will learn a lot about steam technology, the history, the operation and the maintenance of the Brienz Rothorn Bahn. There are a maximum of 6 participants per course under the expert supervision of three “old foxes” while heating.

Program day one:
09:30 a.m. meeting point at Brienz valley station, try on heater clothes
10:00 a.m. theory part at the locomotive
then journeys with a steam locomotive built in 1891/1892
between Brienz and Planalp - lubricate, heat, hold water
12:15 p.m. Lunch
1:15 p.m. further trips, lubricate, heat, take water
5:30 p.m. Diploma handover with aperitif in the depot
6:00 p.m. goodbye

What to bring: good (stable) footwear / drink (non-alcoholic) for on the go.
The course fee includes lunch including a non-alcoholic drink.
